My Early Attempt At Lore:

Welcome to The Wall. What is The Wall? Well it's everything of course!

Centuries ago, the dark ages are said to have almost pushed our ancestors out of existence. On the brink of collapse, right here, that's when it happened....

It was tremor season, and with legs eviscerated from a mix of the constant earthquakes, and being on the run, The Two - a royal deckhand, and a poor monk - fell to their knees, unable to go any further on this barren archipelago as foes approached.

The legend goes all different ways depending on where you hear it from. Some say it was divine intervention, others claim in his final moments the monk achieved Nirvana, and a select few claim it to have already been the deckhand's family secret; but no matter the case, it is said the sky shook, and the near seas boiled, as "The Wall" arose from the ground around them.

From it, *Resource Name* seeped into the surrounding area, forever changing our way of life and The Two. The monk, no longer bound to a subjective soul, commanded the power to control and command armies. The noble, in his element on high walls, rained hell on those below.

In combination, the unique skills of each liberated the remaining of our kind from a whole army of pursuers; and in turn left us with this land we now reside in.

So... Back to it! The wall won't defend itself. Honor the legacy of The Two and remain in control of it. *Resource Name* became quite the target of demand.
